ACCESS TO AV8 CAN ONLY BE GAINED FROM THE A433 TETBURY TO CIRENCESTER ROAD
From the East (London), West and South West
- Exit M4 at junction 17
- Follow A429 north towards Cirencester
- You cannot gain access to AV8 from this road
- Continue past the entrance to Cotswold Airport to the junction with A433 and turn left towards Tetbury.
- After 3/4 mile you will approach a right hand bend with a small country road turning off to the left (signposted Kemble Airport) **
- Turn into this road and drive to the very end. The entrance to the airport is on the right. Go through the gate and follow the signs for AV8 Restaurant.
From the North
- Exit M5 at junction 11A
- Take A419 to Cirencester
- Take A433 to Tetbury
- Pass under a railway bridge then Thames Head pub on the right.
- After The Thames Head, take the 2nd turning on the left (signposted Kemble Airport) and follow directions from ** above.
From Tetbury
- Take A433 to Cirencester
- From the Rodmarton turning continue for 1.7 miles
- You will see the sign for Kemble Airfield on your right hand side - follow directions from ** above
DO NOT USE SAT NAV as it will take you to the wrong place!

AV8 has recently been taken over by Crown Catering
Relax on the terrace - maybe you will see one of the Delta Jets operating or Formula 1 teams testing, or maybe witness a display of aircraft practice - sit and enjoy the comings and goings of the wide variety of aircraft and helicoptors that use the base.
