COTSWOLD AIRPORT - near Malmesbury, Wiltshire
Kemble Airfield was the home of the Red Arrows in the 1970's and 1980's, and is a typically impressive former military airfield. It is now a thriving and purposeful CAA licensed airport, operating many and varied types including vintage fighter and training jets such as Hunters, Gnats and Jet Provost fast jets.
Cotswold Airport is the home for local businesses including Ultimate High (www.ultimatehigh.co.uk), Fly 2 Help (www.fly2help.org) and Delta Jets (www.deltajets.com).
The Bristol Aero Collection also has it's home here. This is a museum dedicated to the preservation and display of artefacts of the Bristol Aeroplane Company and its sister companies (www.bristolaero.com).
